MEDIA: Kidsread and Kids In Danger (KID) recommend the following shows for family viewing. Shows that are not appropriate for children and families are below. Updated April 4, 2023

TV & NEWS	KIDSREAD RATING:
Newsmax	Very High: This news channel presents accurate news about business and current events in the U.S. The hosts are honest patriots who are very favorable towards President Trump and frequently feature Senators and Congressmen who oppose corruption and support family values.
Fox News--The following Fox shows feature real news: Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin, Judge Janine, Tucker Carlson, Steve Hilton, Jesse Waters, and Greg Gutfeld. Other news shows on Fox have a high degree of Fake News. For example, Fox called the election for Biden even though there was massive evidence of cheating and illegal activities on the part of election officials.	Very High: These shows are not for young children, but teens might enjoy then. They offer stimulating and accurate news coverage about current events. They speak the truth about corruption in Washington and are almost always favorable towards President Trump. The hosts are honest patriots who frequently feature Senators and Congressmen who oppose corruption and support family values.
Fox Business: Stewart Varney, Lou Dobbs, Charles Payne, Larry Kudlow, Dagen McDowell, Sean Duffy	Very High: These shows present accurate news about business and current events in the U.S. The hosts are honest patriots who are very favorable towards President Trump and frequently feature Senators and Congressmen who oppose corruption and support family values.
The Blaze: Glenn Beck and other hosts give the plain, unvarnished truth about Covid and national events without interference from liberal news directors or advertising influence from fascist corporations.	Excellent:
Netflix: "Avatar--The Last Air Bender" for kids	Very High: Exciting and entertaining. Animated show about heroes who defend righteous leaders and fight against evil.
The Dog Whisperer	Excellent: It's very heartwarming to watch Cesar train owners in dog handling with firmness and kindness, by teaching calm assertiveness, patience, consistency, and doggy body language. There are no problem dogs, just problem owners.
Disney Channel (especially "Bluey" on Disney Plus)	Very High: Offers a huge selection of animated movies and cartoons as well as family movies. Some recent releases may have "politically correct" aspects that celebrate the low standards of Hollywood and don't align with conservative family values. My grandkids are crazy about "Bluey" on Disney Plus.
National Geographic Channel	Excellent: Just about every show on this channel is worth watching. They teach the geography, history, and culture of countries around the world.
Roku	Excellent: Has a large selection of family-friendly movies.
How to Train Your Dragon	Excellent: Very entertaining with good family values.
Octonauts	Excellent: Very entertaining with good family values.
Lego Cartoons	Excellent: Very entertaining with good family values.
Carmen San Diego	Excellent: Very entertaining with good family values.
True and the Rainbow Kingdom	Excellent: Very entertaining with good family values.
Beck Bro Jack on Utube.com	Excellent: Very entertaining with good family values. No swearing. Jack Beck has amazing self-presentation skills with a thousand different facial expressions and 500 different voices. Funny and witty. Teaches kids how to navigate Minecraft game.
NEWSPAPERS & WEBSITES
Epoch Times & EpochTimes.com	Excellent: Features honest news coverage with many stories about life, culture, business, health & sports.

Hewlett Packard (HP): HP and many corporations in America are sponsoring overnight sales seminars that exclude spouses and families. They do this by paying for the entire trip for the employee only, which makes it difficult for that employee to add on a spouse. These types of trips enable spouses who are disloyal to cheat on their companion, which leads to divorce and severe hardship for children. KID encourages parents to seek employment with companies with family-friendly and marriage-friendly policies.

United Airlines recently removed a mother from a flight after she complained that a violent film was not suitable for her children: "On May 8th, Amy Bearmon flew with her family on a United Flight which aired "The Great Debaters" on a publicly viewable overhead screen. Ms. Bearmon looked up and saw a lynching scene that she deemed inappropriate for her kids, ages 7 and 4. She asked four separate flight attendants to turn off the film. Not only did the flight attendants ignore her requests and air additional violent images inappropriate for kids, but they had Ms. Bearmon removed from the flight for being a nuisance when the plane landed in Chicago for a scheduled connection." United was forced to deal with Media attention regarding this and Kids In Danger believes they should also deal with passengers choosing other airlines. Source: kids-in-mind.com/

Delta Airlines refused to speak with Kidsafefilms.org about airing violent films inflight when children are onboard. You can help by calling Delta Airlines and ask them to speak with them… try Joanne Smith (Sr. VP, In-Flight Service) at (404) 715-2600 - ask her to visit www.kidsafefilms.org and help solve this problem. Kids In Danger feels that this is a no-brainer, and shouldn't require a committee, just one finger to turn off the DVD player. Forcing children to view violence in a confined space is the worst form of bureaucratic abuse imaginable.

Time Warner has produced, broadcast, or sold more non-family-friendly and non-female-friendly TV shows and movies than any other entertainment company. What they call entertainment, we call discrimination, degradation, domination, and dumb.

PROBLEM HOTELS: Many hotels offer cable TV for free in hotel rooms that includes NON-family-friendly and NON-child-friendly adult images. It is best to stay in a hotel that guarantees family-friendly TV viewing. Enabling people to participate in TV-viewing while away from home that encourages crimes and discrimination against women and children is the highest form of irresponsible corporate behavior. Travelers often have no choice as to where they stay, which makes in even more inappropriate for these hotels to offer immoral and discriminatory viewing. Examples of hotels that allow the above:

Hilton Hotels: adult channel, adult movies, however they do allow you to block content. KID and AID think it is morally wrong to offer these shows to anyone because it discriminates against women and enforces a "Bully" mentality in men. Their position is the opposite of community family values.

Please note: Regretfully, most hotels now offer adult movies on certain channels. It is essential that parents carefully monitor their children's television viewing when staying in any hotel.

It frequently portrays women in revealing clothing that discriminates against, dehumanizes, degrades, and endangers them. This show has repeatedly bashed President Trump even though he is proving to be one of the best Presidents in history. They speak favorably of dishonest politicians who fight against the constitution and family values.
CBS News - Fake News	Very Bad: This national news frequently tells outright lies about President Trump and tends to be biased towards socialist values and communist countries, giving kids an unfair view of current affairs. It frequently portrays women in revealing clothing that discriminates against, dehumanizes, degrades, and endangers them. This show has repeatedly bashed President Trump even though he is proving to be one of the best Presidents in history. They speak favorably of dishonest politicians who fight against the constitution and family values.

KCAL 9 News - Los Angeles - Fake News	Bad: This channel's news shows partially-dressed women, playboy bunnies, and bikini contests on prime-time news without regard for who may be watching, in order to increase its ratings. All of the above discriminates against, dehumanizes, degrades, and endangers women. It teaches little children that nudity and partial nudity are okay when it endangers them.
KTTV Fox 11 News - Los Angeles - Fake News	Bad: This channel's news shows partially-dressed women, playboy bunnies, and bikini contests on prime-time news without regard for who may be watching, in order to increase its ratings. All of the above discriminates against, dehumanizes, degrades, and endangers women. It teaches little children that nudity and partial nudity are okay when it endangers them.
KTVN Channel 2 News - Reno - Nevada - Fake News	Very Bad: In our opinion, this show frequently misrepresents current issues. Conservative family values are not upheld here. The most logical and honest newscaster was recently let go and those who sympathize with Marxist values were retained.
KOLO 8 Channel 8 News - Reno - Nevada - Fake News	Not Good: In our opinion, this show frequently misrepresents current issues.
KSL News - Salt Lake City, Utah - Fake News	Not Good: In our opinion, this show frequently misrepresents current issues. Conservative family values are not upheld here.
America's Funniest Videos	Not Good: This show is often very humorous and fun, but it frequently shows people having accidents that result in pain and injury. This encourages children and adults to laugh at the misfortunes of others. If you point out this flaw while your family is watching and avoid laughing at the injury scenes, then Kidsread says its okay to view.
Desperate Housewives	Very Bad: Portrays immoral people in immoral situations and tries to make it look okay and humorous. This is a message that could endanger kids, teens, and adults.
The View	Very Bad: This show frequently lies about President Trump as various women give liberal opinions about current issues. The hosts are always very rude to conservative guests who speak the truth. Conservative family values are frequently berated here.
Se_ and the City (letter omitted to pass censor programs)	Very Bad: Portrays dysfunctional and immoral behavior as "normal."
MOVIES:
The Golden Compass	Not worth the time Low in teaching social values
Any movie that is rated R, Mature, NC-17, or X	Very Bad: These movies flaunt or encourage activities that endanger children and cause increases in premarital sex, teen pregnancy, molestation, date-rape, rape, and sexually- transmitted diseases.
Any PG-13 movie that includes nudity	Very Bad: See above
Any movie with excessive violence	Very Bad: Studies show that regularly viewing of violence desensitizes the human mind to physical and emotional abuse. Boys who often watch violence are more likely to engage in incest, porn, bullying and molestation. Girls who are subjected to it are more likely to be victims.
Movies that portray sensual activities as if they are acceptable outside of marriage	Very Bad: Studies show that a majority of American adults do not engage in extra-marital physical liaisons, and that a majority of teens believe in waiting until they are married. Kidsread believes that studies that are contrary to this have an agenda and are flawed. Many of these studies count numbers of illicit encounters and don't take into account the fact that that some people have multiple encounters while others have none.
VIDEO GAMES:	K.I.D. RECOMMENDS THERAPY OR JAIL TIME FOR THE MAKERS OF THESE GAMES:
Duke Nukem	Very Bad: Excessive violence, poor social interraction, no moral values
Carmegeddon	Very Bad: Allows players to tie a partially-clad woman to a tree, who then begs you to "shoot her."
Quake and Doom	Very Bad: Excessive violence, poor social interraction, no moral values
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto II and III	Very Bad: Allows players to hire a prostitute, then beat her to death and get their money back.
Any video game that includes violence or women in revealing clothing.	Studies show that regular viewing of violence, especially violence mixed with partially-clad women, desensitizes the human mind to physical and emotional abuse. Boys who often watch brutality are more likely to engage in incest, porn, bullying and molestation. Girls who are subjected to it are more likely to be victims.
